Membership of the M.K.L is open to all men and women (regardless of their place of birth) who share; value; and pay allegiance to the Sovereign of their native land. For those who wish to personify all that which chivalry portrays like Sir Walter Raleigh, Rudyard Kipling, King Richard II, Rupert Brooke, Alfred Lord Tennyson, John Betjeman, to name but a few, but not forgetting our great national hero Horatio, Lord Nelson who sacrificed his own life to save us from being invaded by those strange people, twenty or so miles away across The Channel.
